ASDA - Portadown
Welcome to my review of ASDA - Portadown, a cornerstone of the community located on Bridge Street in Craigavon, County Armagh. As a branch of the well-known ASDA supermarket chain, this store provides a comprehensive selection of groceries and household essentials to its customers. It's not just a place to shop; it's a hub for everyday convenience and affordable prices.
This store prides itself on an assortment of products that cater to diverse needs and preferences. From savoury snacks to fresh produce, ASDA - Portadown has made it easy for customers to find what they're looking for at reasonable prices. Some highlights include:
- Best Sellers: The popular ASDA Crunchy & Fragrant Brown Onions priced at £0.70 show that quality ingredients are accessible.
- Treats Under £2: Enjoy a fantastic deal with Walkers Cheese & Onion Sharing Crisps (150g) for just £1.80—perfect for get-togethers.
- Bread & Bakery: Options like Hovis Seed Sensations and ASDA Bakery Garlic & Coriander Naans exemplify the variety of baked goods available, with prices under £2.20.
But the experience at ASDA - Portadown isn't without its challenges. Customer reviews reveal mixed sentiments. While some highlight issues like locked facilities and frustrating self-checkout experiences, others express disappointment over customer service during online deliveries. It's clear that there's room for improvement in these areas. I found the contrasting reviews create a complex picture of the shopping experience.
Despite some concerning feedback regarding staff interactions and services, the store's affordable prices and vast selection continue to attract a loyal customer base. It’s essential for ASDA - Portadown to foster improvement in customer service to match the high standards set by their product offerings.
In conclusion, while ASDA - Portadown delivers convenience and affordability, ensuring a consistent and pleasant shopping experience is crucial for future success. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit, armed with the knowledge of potential hiccups. Overall, the promise of quality goods at great prices makes it an attractive stop for food enthusiasts and everyday shoppers alike.

Was here on Monday th December, at pm, disabled toilets were locked! This has happened on at least occasions, one staff member said it was flooded, whilst another said its to stop youths vandalising! I make them aware that in fact they're breaking the law, and would be reporting it to the relevant authorities! My question is what's the security guard doing when all this supposed vandalism is taking place?? Complete & utter disgrace for disabled people...ASDA sort it out immediately!!

First time in the store to buy £ worth of good, was advised to use the self scan only to be met with a security check. All our items rescanned while we stood for minutes only to be told to go on ahead. What a waste of our time and to stand there while staff checks our entire trolley for stolen goods. Demoralizing and humiliating. Wont be back

Waited all evening for my online delivery - booked a pm-pm slot. No sign of it by .pm so I contacted customer services as the store itself was closed to see if they knew anything about it. Bottom line - no vans available to deliver and if it doesn’t arrive by midnight it will automatically be cancelled. Had I not phoned I would be unaware of this. Completely unhelpful customer service line, completely useless delivery service!

Ordered my first ever home delivery for groceries due to being very unwell currently and not able to leave the house. This experience has confirmed I will never order a home delivery by asda again. Good part of my order missing on delivery, the items that I really needed such as toilet roll, cooking oil etc that I'm running low on/ completely out of. The delivery driver was more than pleasant and he also couldn't believe how much was missing from my order/ the actual items missing knowing fine well these are basic stock items missing. I have no doubt that these items are in stock at the store. I was informed that asda staff who are delegated pickers for collection/ deliveries tend to put down nil stock if they are too busy or short of staff. Why bother offering a service that you's can't be bothered to provide. Complete let down and inconvenience.
